AROBS @ CeBIT 2007
At its 7th consecutive participation at CeBIT, the most important international exhibition fair for the ITC industry, AROBS showcased its whole range of products, services and solutions to all those who want to reduce software development costs, to have access to the highest quality and to deal with innovative and open-minded specialists.
AROBS’ presence at CeBIT was a good opportunity to establish new contacts and to present the company’s outsourcing solutions as well as its own software applications: TrackGPS – system for tracking and coordinating fleets of vehicles and Optimall by Arobs: a GPRS based Sales Force Automation solution for the retail industry, using PDAs and PALMs as mobile terminals.

AROBS’ participation at this year’s CeBIT proved to be very successful and beneficial, generating a number of leads with companies from Europe, North America and Middle East which will be used as the foundation for future business alliances.
AROBS Transilvania Software @ Gitex 2006
From 18th to 22nd of November, Dubai hosted the most important exhibition in the Middle East. 76 countries represented by 1340 companies from the IT&C sector have featured the latest technology and news in the field. According to official records, Gitex 2006 has been visited by over 130,000 visitors.
At its 2nd consequent presence at Gitex (Gulf Information Technology Exhibition) under the Romanian pavilion, together with 14 other IT companies, AROBS showcased its own software solutions to visitors, potential partners and clients. Among the promoted software applications, there are Optimall (sales force automation, already implemented at more than 100 Romanian companies), Track GPS (fleet tracking and coordination By GPS/GPRS) and informatic solutions for travel agencies. Voicu Oprean, General Manager, declared that “we have discussed the possibility of representing the company in the Persian Gulf with our solutions, Optimall and Track GPS”.

AROBS’ presence at Gitex represented a good opportunity of getting more familiar with the Middle East business field, information which will be a real help for a possible expansion in UAE area.

AROBS Transilvania Software at Systems 2006
AROBS' presence at the Systems 2006 event, one of the most important international IT&C shows, aimed at consolidating our existing partnerships with companies present at the show and at identifying new opportunities for cooperation.
During the event, which was held between October 23 and October 27 in Munich, Germany, AROBS Transilvania software presented its services and products in Romania's hall.
AROBS promoted at Systems 2006 both its software outsourcing services (custom software development for embedded devices, online banking & travel solutions in Microsoft, Java, MacOS X) and its own software applications. These applications include Optimall (solution for sales force automation, already implemented at over 100 Romanian companies), Track GPS (solution for GPS/GPRS fleet tracking) and the solutions for travel agencies.
AROBS' participation at Systems 2006 was even more successful than expected, resulting in over 60 business contacts from prestigious companies. We expect these contacts to lead to at least 5 long term partnerships in the near future.

According to the organizers, Systems 2006 attracted approximately 1260 exhibitors from 28 countries and about 53000 trade visitors.

AROBS Transilvania Software at CeBIT 2006
AROBS Transilvania Software attended CeBIT for the sixth consecutive time. For the third time, the company was present with two booths, one in the outsourcing section of Romania's stand, the other under SIPPO's patronage. Swiss Import Promotion Programme (SIPPO) is an organization aiming at helping small and medium sized companies from developing countries enter the Swiss market. Furthermore, SIPPO offers assistance to Swiss importers in identifying of new products and markets.
AROBS is one of the few Romanian IT companies that not only showed at CeBIT an excellent potential as a provider of software outsourcing services (custom software development in Microsoft, Java, OS X) but also exhibited its own software solutions. These applications include Optimall (solution for sales force automation, already implemented at over 100 Romanian companies), Track GPS (solution for GPS/GPRS fleet tracking) and the solutions for travel agencies.
The contacts established at CeBIT are starting to turn into discussions and contracts with customers from Switzerland, the UK or Italy.
As an authorized distributor of the Mio GPS navigation systems in Romania, AROBS attended the official launch of the last models of Mio devices, which are equipped with features such as phone (Mio A701) and Traffic Message Channel Antenna ( Mio C710).
According to statistics provided by organizers, CeBIT 2006 housed approximately 6.200 exhibitors, which attracted over 450.000 visitors.

AROBS at i.connvienna and ITnT 2006
Voicu Oprean, AROBS Transilvania Software's general manager, attended the i.connviena 2006 conference and the ITnT trade fair for information technology and telecommunication, held in Austria in February 2006.
At its second edition, the conference attracted 250 experts from all over the world, who took part in 9 special topic-conferences. The main goal of the conference was to analyze issues related to the future of a global information society. Special attention was granted to the Eastern European region and the problems it faces as a result of the EU integration process.
The nine conferences focused on the following issues: Management Consulting, Mobile World, IT-Public Sector/Industries, Corporate Social Responsibility, Urban Technologies and Planning (CORR), Brand Management, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Environmental Technologies. Workshops on legal challenges in international business, financial services opportunities and European funds and subsidies completed the program.
Together with 10 other Romanian companies, AROBS Transilvania Software promoted its portfolio of services and products, which includes:

AROBS at GITEX 2005
AROBS Transilvania Software, a prestigious IT company both in Romania and on the global IT&C market, is one of the 18 firms that represented Romania at GITEX 2005.
Gitex (Gulf Information Technology Exhibition) is regarded as one of 3 most important IT shows in the world and celebrated its twenty fifth anniversary this year.
During the event, which was held in Dubai between September 25 and 29, AROBS Transilvania Software presented its services and products in Romania's stand. Of these, we mention custom software development, software outsourcing, travel agency software, the Optimall application for sales force automation (SFA) and the TrackGPS system for fleet tracking and control.
AROBS's presence at GITEX 2005 aimed at identifying opportunities for cooperation with Asian companies and resulted in 25 business contacts which we expect to bring at least 5 long term partnerships. Most of the ensuing partnerships, will be in the software outsourcing area, while a few of them aim at offering us access to reliable and affordable hardware components for our solutions.

AROBS at Systems 2005
AROBS Transilvania Software is one of the IT companies that represented Romania at the Systems 2005 International IT fair held in Munchen between October 24 and 28.
The event attracted 1260 exhibitors from 23 countries as well as 65000 visitors, figures that are slightly higher than those of last year, indicating an increased interest for the fair. Focused on facilitating B2B tranzactions between companies of all sizes, the exhibition was also geared toward the coverging markets of telecommunications and media, covering areas such as IT security, software and informatic systems, digital technologies, document management, mobile solutions, e-business, ERP-CRM-SCM.
Together with other 23 companies from Romania, AROBS Transilvania Software exhibited in Romania's stand, promoting its portfolio of services and products, which includes:
- software outsourcing (Microsoft, Java-J2EE)
- the Optimall solution for sales force automation
- travel agency software
- the TrackGPS application for fleet tracking

Best-shoring and near-shoring
AROBS Transilvania Software is one of the 24 companies that represented Romania at OutsourceWorld 2005. While attending the event, Voicu Oprean, the company's general manager learned that "best-shoring" becomes ever more important for outsourcing customers, who are now looking beyond the borders of traditional outsourcing centers, towards places less popular than India, to find niche specialization or simply to find service providers with appropriate time zones. Companies such a General Electric Co. run vast offshore operations in India without overlooking the so called proximity offshore outsourcing (near-shore) - a "spare tyre" represented by the providers of outsourcing services located in Mexico. Industry experts advise beneficiaries to choose the region or country that best fits the company's requirements in terms of specialization, language and culture before singling out the provider of software outsourcing services.
It is already well known that Romanian providers offer expertise in a wide array of languages, geographic proximity for a variety of European markets and a well trained labor, shaped in a university system that emphasizes mathematics and engineering. This fact increases our desire to take advantage of the partnership opportunities stemmed from the interest for best-sourcing rather than just outsourcing.

The Outcomes of CeBIT 2005
AROBS presence at CeBIT 2005, the most important international IT&C show, aimed at consolidating our existing partnerships with companies present at the show and identifying new opportunities for cooperation.
According to the organizers, CeBIT 2005 drew in approximately 6000 companies and institutions from over 72 countries and at least half a million visitors.
During the event, which was held between March 10 and March 16 in Hanover, Germany, AROBS Transilvania software presented its services and products in the Romania's and SIPPO's (Swiss Import Promotion Programme) halls. SIPPO is an institution intent on improving the access of small and medium-sized companies from developing countries to the Swiss and UE markets. Furthermore, SIPPO is assisting Swiss importers that are looking for new products and outsourcing markets.
As a result of its potential to become an important presence in the German speaking market, AROBS Transilvania Software was one of the two Romanian software developers selected to exhibit in SIPPO's hall.
Besides the activities that took place at our two stands, we have also been involved in a matchmaking event. This action was facilitated by the FutureMatch web site and allowed us to establish highly promising business relationships.
AROBS's participation at CeBIT 2005 resulted in 64 business contacts which we expect to bring at least 3 long term partnerships in the near future. These partnerships would complement the 10 partnerships already established with prestigious German companies.
