Embedded World 2018 goes autonomous

It is no surprise the IT innovation creates a disruption by changing the consumer behavior and reshaping the traditional industries.

The race to increase the processing power is unstoppable. Every year the top silicon manufacturers report better and faster CPUs, increasing the level of automation and allowing new business models to revolutionize the industries.

Automotive sector makes no exception. The top trends revolve around mobility, autonomous driving, electrification and connectivity. As an IT company, with 20 years of experience, AROBS is deeply involved in providing top class software solutions for the automotive sector. Following the new trends becomes part of our mission and the only choice to remain relevant in a fast changing-world.

Embedded World exhibition and conference is probably the largest international event gathering the latest trends in this industry. Joining the event has become a tradition for us. Our R&D engineers meet and share their passion with other industry experts by exploring innovative embedded solutions.

Last year, our presence was empowered by Julia, the wooden car, an icon of our craftsmanship and dedication to high quality products and services. A symbol of beauty, Julia guided our participation through the fair not only because everybody wanted to have a picture with it but also for the great joy of meeting old and new partners. Take a look at this video from last year edition featured in the Embedded Computing Design magazine. Here is a short review of the Embedded World 2017

Why Embedded World 2018?

This year, the theme of the Embedded World conference is “Embedded Goes Autonomous”. Putting the spotlight on autonomous features announces a change for cars, trains, trucks, aircraft, shipping, and robots, which will gain more autonomy or appearing at act more independently. The advent of latest CPUs opens the door to integrating better AI logic to such automated systems.  We will explore the new possibility by focusing on the following EW 2018 major topics:

•           Internet of Things

•           Embedded Vision

•           Autonomous Systems

•           Security & Safety

At AROBS, we provide customized hardware and software solutions for a wide range of products in automotive field including Body Control Modules, Gateway ECUs, Door Control ECUs, Car Keys, Instrument Clusters, Head-Up Displays, Secondary Displays, Infotainment Systems and telematics units.
