This property management system has been designed and implemented to improve revenue opportunities and raise the hotel occupancy rate. The system includes features like reminders for special events, prompts for additional services and products, detailed reports (cancellation, occupancy, performance) for improved allocation of rooms and assessment of business trends, guest profiles, inquiry tracking, financial reports, performance monitoring, invoice management, hotel web site integration. An add-on to the Property Management System (PMS) has also been developed, to be used for instant booking meeting rooms, conference rooms and other facilities and for organizing different types of events. Bookings can be made by all staff and the administration costs are reduced. Users can check availability in real time and avoid double booking. They can also generate reports concerning room utilisation (by person, by department, etc.)
