Back in 1995, when it was established, PROFIPET was among the first companies to distribute food and accessories for pets in Romania. Currently, it is the largest Romanian company of this kind.Their product range includes now more than 10.000 items. All these are readily available for their customers in 5 warehouses and 15 own stores within the Zoomania chain, spread all over Romania.The coverage of the distribution network is further extended by the company's sales agents and a well organized auto fleet to support them. 

The Problem

PROFIPET chose AROBS for the task based on our clean history and impressive customer data base. When they came to us they were looking for a team that could customize their existing solution for warehouse management. Our warehouse management system was expected to automate and streamline the warehouse's management activities. Profipet's main goal was to enhance customer satisfaction by reducing the time for managing orders. 

The Solution

Our warehouse management solution includes modules and functionalities like: reception/entries (for sales orders, deliveries, generating labels for boxes, validation of packages), barcode label generator, transfers between warehouses, deliveries/removals, inventory (to compare available data to the actual merchandise), reports, data import/export (exchange data with an ERP or other applications) and administration. 

The Results

Following the implementation of our solution, the client reported the following benefits: efficient organization of the activity, increase in employee efficiency, reduction of errors and a shorter reception process, professional and prompt service to customers, efficient collection of digital data, overall improvement of the company's image.
