We seem to be living in the age of voice assistants that browse the internet for us, create lists for us, sing our kids to sleep, and handle our online shopping. All we have to do is just tell them, out loud.

Hence, voice assistant devices are just like browsers when it comes to the internet, only it connects us, humans, not just to the internet but to the whole ecosystem of devices, through voice command.

Such an intelligent home automation system can increase the safety of life and the environment when it is configured to deliver a smart multimedia experience.

Since it doesn’t even require a touch, people can use it while they are multitasking or when their hands are full, like driving or cooking. Furthermore, people surveyed enlisted fun and the fact that spoken language is more natural to use than typing, as other important reasons for the usage.

Where are we headed with smart home voice assistants?

Since this market is evolving so fast, and the biggest players are in competition for market share fast progress is very likely. But what does the future hold when it comes to smart home voice assistance devices?
