AROBS PROJECT MANAGERS ATTEND STAMFORD GLOBAL TRAINING ON LEADERSHIP

    The 12th and 13th of December 2007, Arobs project managers have attended a training on leadership awarded 14 PDU points by PMI, provided by Stamford Global and the Project Management Institute, in Wien.
    The training was centered upon effective techniques for developing, inspiring, leading and motivating successful project teams.
    The participants were encouraged to use situational leadership to develop practical strategies that get to the heart of complex team issues, to diagnose and deal effectively with under performing project stuff, to learn how to keep motivation high and build high performing teams, to negotiate inside and outside the team and to develop a personal action plan to apply the learning back at work. The event has proved to be highly participative, including a mixture of discussion, exercises, practical tools and case studies. 
    Stamford Global’s politics of “never stop learning” has fitted closely with Arobs’s continuous investment in workers’ knowledge and training, targeting higher and higher preparation and experience level.

Sales Process Overview - training Sept. 2006

Three members of the AROBS sales team attended the "Sales Process Overview" training organized by ARIES between September 5 and September 7, 2006.  The training was held at a fast pace by Tim Birdsall, trainer & coach at BTC - Birdsall Training & Consulting.



The topics covered were very useful and well structured, while the interactive approach and witty comments attracted the trainees' unanimous appreciation.

AROBS Java Academy

This training is offered 3 times a year by prestigious trainers and specialists with work experience in foreign countries and over 10 years of activity in Java development.

The training lasts a whole month and covers a wide array of Java technologies.  Designed to offer the students a hands on approach, the program uses a multitude of examples from AROBS' current and completed project.  Students have the opportunity to learn programming algorithms and techniques from specialist with impressive experience. Furthermore,   they can earn the reputation of a highly promissing young developer through their programming speed and the accuracy of the code they write.

Upon program completion, AROBS offers the best graduates positions in the company.

Foreign languages

Knowing and being able to apply programming languages and techniques is insufficient as long as these skills cannot be put into a language that is easily understood by customers, colleagues and the sales team. AROBS regards quality communication as an essential factor in any company's success and therefore takes all the necessary steps to create the premises for a seamless communication in the company.

To this end, the management team decided to offer language trainings, the first language on the "most wanted" list being English.  The trainings emphasize dialogue and writing skills, simulating situations that occur frequently in the programmers' daily activities.

Proven learning techniques, methods of maintaining the linguistic abilities at a high level are covered during the trainings, which make use of modern support materials and teaching methods.

Those interested can opt for German trainings, a language known by very few Romanian programmers but extremely useful in our relationships with customers/partners from Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
